Call for Nominations for Centennial R-1 School Directors: The biennial election for Centennial School Board Members is Tuesday, November 2, 2021. There are three (3) Director seats available for nominations: District 2 (North San Luis), District 3 (West), District 4 (Chama). See attached for qualifications and petition process. All paperwork can be picked up at the Centennial School District office and must be returned no later than 4:00 pm, Friday, August 27, 2021. Contact Crystal Quintana for more information.

Good morning Centennial families. If your high school student is interested in playing football, there will be a Panther Football Camp on August 3,4,5 from 4:30-6 in front of Sierra Grande school. Bring a water bottle and cleats. The first day of official practice is August 9th at 4:15.

Good evening Centennial Families! Tuesday is High School Registration is from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. This will be your opportunity to review transcripts and plan a schedule that will help you meet your goals by graduation. However, there are also online forms that need to be completed as part of registration. You can fill these forms out now. Just login to your Alma account, click on your profile picture and select Alma Start. Once you select the student you will be registering, just follow the directions to complete all the necessary forms and update any information changes for the 2021-22 school year. We will have computers and paper forms available as needed here on campus if you would like to complete the online registration here on Tuesday. Otherwise, you can complete these forms from the comfort of your home. Thank you for your support as we get ready for the exciting year ahead.

Good evening Centennial Families! Tomorrow is registration for elementary and middle school students from noon to 7:00pm. However, registration is online for all returning students. Just login to your Alma account, click on your profile picture and select Alma Start. Once you select your student you will be registering, you just follow the directions to complete all the necessary forms and update any information changes for the 2021-22 school year. Otherwise, you can register your child from the comfort of your home. Only students entering 5-8 grades need to come to campus if they want to choose their elective. Good morning Centennial Families! Thank you for completing our survey about mask requirements when we return to school. Yesterday morning, the Board of Education met to discuss our safety plan and maks requirements. In accordance with the new guidance from the CDC and in partnership with Public Health, all students, staff, and visitors will be required to wear a mask while on campus or buses. We will continue with 3 foot social distancing, modified health screenings, hallways cohorting, and regular disinfecting of high-touch areas. Some parts of our day will return to normal such as reopening drinking fountains and the salad bar at lunch. We strive to prioritize the health and safety of students, staff, families and community. We are excited to provide a full return to in-person learning and to continue being your community school of excellence.

Hello Centennial Families. There will be no open gym for volleyball tonight. Boys High School Basketball open gym is still being held tonight. MS Girls and High school girls volleyball will have open gym on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Reminder: Sports physicals will be held at Centennial School from 4:00-6:00.pm. If your child is interested in playing sports this year, they will need a current sports physical. Cost is $25. Your child will need to fill out their sport interest survey that was sent out on Monday as well. Please enter through the east side main gym entrance. See you then!
